We like to think of ourselves as a true village inn with a few individual touches thrown in, and we constantly take inspiration from our beautiful and historic surroundings. The pub, made infamous because of John Selden who was a lawyer, statesman, author and parliamentarian.

We are in Salvington, part of the borough of Worthing ― located between Chichester and Brighton, and at the foot of the South Downs, with stunning views across Sussex from Salvington Hill, where Salvington Windmill, an excellent example of a mill dating from approximately 1750, is situated. We have good bus services and are only a 20 minute walk from West Worthing railway station, through the historic and picturesque Tarring village.
